Context :
In a context of transformation and growth, we are looking for a Linux System and Network Administrator to support the expansion of our company both in France and internationally.

We are seeking a hands-on professional who is proficient in Linux administration, comfortable with open-source tools, and skilled in user support.
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of internal and SaaS customer tools and infrastructures (firewall, Wi-Fi, email, video conferencing, file sharing, etc.), you possess a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to user service.
You will report directly to our CTO for Run Services while collaborating with other system administrators and DevOps engineers in the Run Services team, as well as with our development, product, and administrative teams.

LINAGORA's technical experts, active contributors in the open-source community and part of your daily network, will help you grow and acquire recognized professional skills. Your responsibilities and scope of work will expand according to your learning capabilities.
You will be based at the company's headquarters in exceptional offices within a beautiful architect-designed villa, the "Villa GoodTech," with direct access to the Seine, where you can enjoy paddleboarding or kayaking during lunch breaks or after work. The villa, located on Île Saint-Germain, offers direct access to the departmental park, making it ideal for jogging. It is easily accessible by public transport, but we also provide parking solutions, as the city of Issy is well equipped.

The company has implemented a remote work policy, which can be applied after the probation period.

Your Responsibilities:

As part of maintaining and improving our software and hardware infrastructure and providing support to internal and external users, LINAGORA is looking for an operations engineer capable of monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading existing platforms.
You will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring services and performing basic incident responses.
  • Updating software and hardware components on platforms hosted by cloud partners such as OVH and Outscale.
  • Identifying and reporting bugs.
  • Contributing to improving monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Providing helpdesk services to our internal users.

Required Skills:
  • Strong skills in Linux System and Network Administration to install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and internal tools, ensuring system performance, availability, and security.
  • Proficiency in Ubuntu desktop administration to provide quality helpdesk support to company teams, resolving various incidents and issues.
  • Basic understanding of technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform, with opportunities to quickly develop your technical skills with us!
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to read logs and metrics, identify and resolve issues.
  • Communication skills: Collaborate with other technical teams to help identify and resolve production issues and implement safeguards.
  • Experience with Grafana / Loki / Prometheus is appreciated.
  • Experience with Zabbix is also a plus.
  • A basic understanding of application protocols (email protocols, DAV, OpenID Connect, Matrix, etc.) is a valuable bonus.
